Dr. D. Anthony Miles is an entrepreneur, award-winning researcher, award-winning professor, legal expert witness and best-selling author. Dr. Miles is a nationally known expert in the fields of Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He is a startup and marketing expert. He has appeared in the national media for his expertise. ● He is CEO and Founder, of Miles Development Industries Corporation®, a consulting practice and venture capital acquisition firm. ● He is also host and executive producer of Game On Business Talk® Radio Show. ● He was a Visiting Professor. He has presented his research at conferences around the country. Most notably he has presented at the prestigious Stanford University. He was recently invited to Harvard University by the Harvard Business School (HBS).
He has over 20 years in the retail industry, banking and financial services industry. He has held positions with Fortune 500 companies. He has consulted several start-up ventures, small businesses, business risk, business plans, marketing, and market research. He is the author of three books, How to Get Away With Murder in Marketing: Forensic Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Risk and Risk Factors and Business Models.
He is a nationally known expert in the media. He has been interviewed in numerous media outlets. He has won numerous awards for his research and has presented at numerous conferences around the country. Most recently, he won Best Research in Marketing at the Spring 2021 Academy of Business Research Conference (ABR). Dr. Miles is a four-time winner of the ABR Conference Award for marketing and economics. While completing his Ph.D., he won a fellowship for his doctoral research with the 2009 USASBE Doctoral Consortium. He was one of 17 distinguished doctoral researchers around the country in the field of Entrepreneurship.
